People are becoming increasingly disillusioned with a materialistic approach to life and more aware of the need to give a little something back to deserving causes and the communities they live in. Volunteer numbers are increasing, and national initiatives such as Children in Need and Comic Relief are achieving record viewers and donations.

Noels HQ, a recent run on SkyOne and presented by Noel Edmonds, focussed specifically on good causes, and proved week after week to be an inspirational programme that touched the hearts of the nation and achieved some incredible results.
