CharityOne.TV: Why We're Different. Why You Can Make A Difference
When was the last time you saw a TV special or even a positive news report about the charities you support? Was it a year ago, five years ago, NEVER? Think about it. While it is true that some of America's finest local TV stations go all-out to support and promote charities in their communities, when was the last time you actually saw anything about the charities important to you on national TV--and on a regular basis?
How can charities be so vitally important to our way of life in America, but receive so little coverage on our Television airwaves?
The time has come for CharityOne.TV, a new kind of Television for a generation concerned about the issues around us: THE HEALTH OF OUR PLANET, HIV/AIDS, CANCER, HUNGER, HUMAN RIGHTS, CHILD PROTECTION, ANIMAL PROTECTION, CIVIL RIGHTS and ADVOCACY, CONSUMER PROTECTION and LEGAL AID, DISABLED, DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE, HOMELESSNESS, LITERACY, MENTAL HEALTH, TERMINALLY and CHRONICALLY ILL, VETERANS, YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, INTERNATIONAL RELIEF, DISASTER RELIEF, WOMEN'S RIGHTS, SENIOR RIGHTS, POPULATION PLANNING...and the list goes on and on.
While WE ARE THE WORLD brought some 45 popular recording artists and the world together for the relief of famine and disease in Africa in 1985, LiveAid...FarmAid...The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon...are all one-time or annual events. As valuable as these efforts have been, what about coverage of all other charities and their causes...24 hours a day, 7 days a week? The challenges we face in America and around the globe are continuous, so TV coverage must mirror those continuous challenges. Cancer kills millions annually. A child without food is one too many. A senior without medical care faces death, just because. The homeless go without a voice, let alone equal time.
CharityOne.TV will provide America's charities and the causes they represent a VOICE with PICTURES, around the clock, seven days a week. We have the opportunity to change the world--one charity, one cause, one program, one viewer at a time. However, we need your swift response, as there is no time to waste. We urge you to join a select group of individuals, by teaming up with us NOW.
Please, make your voice heard by giving a voice to the homeless, the hungry, the disabled, the abused, the victims, those left behind, those with no jobs, those dieing of diseases without a cure. You can give them the gift of Voice, of Pictures, of Hope, by getting involved with us NOW.
We've got a plan in place, and want to share it with you. Please write me directly, and I will provide you with specific steps you can take to help us with our mission. My email address is DavidSams@CharityOne.TV.
